\u2018Padam Shri\u2019 recipient and famous Gandhian Agus Indra Udayan hailing from Bali, Indonesia was felicitated by other \u2018Padam Shri\u2019 awardeee from Uttarakhand at a function at a function held at Sanjay Orthopaedic, Spine and Maternity Centre, here on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Agus Indra Udayan \u00a0is a world renowned social worker who has been awarded by many government and non-government organisations. Considering his outstanding social work, President of India conferred upon him with Padma Shri in 2020.<\/p>\n
He runs Gandhi Puri Ashram in Bali, Indonesia where poor students are not only provided scholarship to study their respective disciplines but also made aware about the Gandhian philosophy of non-violence, love, simplicity and helping the poorest of the poor.<\/p>\n
Speaking on the occasion, Agus Indra Udayan said that it is very important today to imbine the Gandhian philosophy of non-violence and helping the poor. He said that since he started his Gandhi Anand Puri Ashram in Bali, Indonesia he has helped more than 250 students who are alumnus of the ashram who are doing well in their lives and propagating Gandhian values. He appealed that rich people should help atleast one poor person or a child for a better world.<\/p>\n

Sanjay, founder of Sanjay Orthopaedic, Spine and Maternity Centre who has also been conferred with \u2018Padma Shri\u2019award along with \u2018Padma Shri\u2019 Liladhar Jaguri, \u2018Padma Shri\u2019 Basanti Bisht, \u2018Padma Shri\u2019 Kalyan Singh Rawat and \u2018Padma Shri\u2019 Madhuri Barthwal, felicitated Agus Indra Udayan for his excellent social works and initiatives.<\/p>\n
