Traditional Nepali dance of team \u2018Manvi\u2019 bagged first position in \u2018Grafest 23\u2019<\/p>\n

In the annual cultural competition of Graphic Era group of institutions \u2018Grafest 23\u2019, Team \u2018Manvi\u2019 comprising Sahil, Sanskriti and Avni bagged the first position in folk dance category while team \u2018Nandaas\u2019 of Tanmay and Shivangi in the folk singing. The \u2018Kashti Band\u2019 won first prize in \u2018Bandwar\u2019 category.<\/p>\n
Hundreds of students from Graphic Era Deemed University and Graphic Era Hill University\u2019s Dehradun, Bhimtal and Haldwani campuses participated in the competition. Winners of different categories were felicitated by Graphic Era Group of Institutions\u2019 Vice Chairperson Rakhi Ghanshala.<\/p>\n
In group dance (folk) category, Deemed University\u2019s Team Manvi\u2019s Nepali dance bagged the first position. Hill University Dehradun\u2019s Team Devasthali\u2019s Garhwali dance (Atul, Taniya, Sheetal, etc.) won the second prize and Bhimtal campus\u2019 Team Nanda Sunanda\u2019s Kumaoni dance (Prachi, Divya, etc.) won the third prize.<\/p>\n
In the group dance (western) category, Tanisha and Avishkar\u2019s Team \u2018Incredibles\u2019 from Deemed University came first, \u2018G- Elite Group\u2019 from Haldwani campus came second and \u2018Jai Rai Group\u2019 from Bhimtal campus came third.<\/p>\n
In group singing (folk) category, Dehradun Hill University\u2019s Team \u2018Nandaas\u2019 won the first prize while Deemed University\u2019s Team \u2018Morpankh\u2019 won second prize and Bhimtal campus\u2019s \u2018Himgiri Group\u2019 won the third position.<\/p>\n
In solo singing (classical ) category, Dhitasmita from Deemed university, Kasak from Bhimtal campus and Ved Nautiyal from Dehradun Hill university won first, second and third prizes, respectively. Haldwani\u2019s Ansh won the first, Deemed university \u2019s Gifty won the second and Bhimtal campus\u2019s Riya Kandpal won third prize in the solo singing (western) category.<\/p>\n
Sahil Kathait from Dehradun Hill University won the first prize in solo dance (classica) category. Amrasha from Deemed University won the second and Kanishka from Bhimtal campus won the third prize. In solo dance (western) category, Haldwani campus \u2019s Rahul Pandey won the first position. Bhimtal\u2019s Rahul Kumar and \u00a0Dehradun Hill University\u2019s Himanshu were given second and third place respectively. .<\/p>\n
