MSC holds seven free medical camps in Garhwal Himalayas<\/p>\n

Medical Service Center (MSC), a national level pro-people socio- health institution held five days free medical and health camps in Garhwal Himalayas from November 25 till 29, 2023.<\/p>\n
Since it’s inception in 1977, Medical Service Centre (MSC) with it\u2019s headquarters in Kolkata, \u00a0till now, \u00a0has provided medical relief by setting up their medical camps in every natural disaster or man- made disaster across\u00a0the country.<\/p>\nPatients been given medicines at a free medical camp organised by Medical service Centre (MSC), a voluntary group in a Garhwal village in Uttarakhand.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Medical Service Centre (MSC) volunteers from across the country had done commendable work for one year after the Kedarnath disaster in Uttarakhand in 2013. Since then, every year MSChad been organising free medical camps in the interior villages of garhwal every year.<\/p>\n
This year annual\u00a0 5- day free medical camps were organized from 25th to 29th<\/sup> \u00a0in villages of Garhwal namely Darmola, Bhiri, Peling, Birao- Dewal, Ratura, Srinagar Garhwal and Dobh Shrikot.<\/p>\n
Dr. Anup Maiti, Dr. Tarun Mandal,a former member of Lok Sabha from West Bengal, Dr. Harikrishna Maiti, Dr. Naresh Kumar, Dr. Faroza Firdous, Nursing Officer Bhaswati Mukherjee, Nursing Officer Unnati Chatterjee, Nursing Officer Polly Roy, Dr. Mahua Nanda were part of the free medical camps organised at seven places.<\/p>\nVolunteers at a free medical camp organised by Medical service Centre (MSC), a voluntary group in a Garhwal village in Uttarakhand.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
In these free medical camps a total of\u00a0 900 patients were examined and treated,\u00a0 about 250 sugar tests and 70 ECGs were done. Patients were provided free medicines also after medical examinations.<\/p>\n
Local volunteers namely\u00a0Shishpal Panwar, Reshma Panwar, Sandeep Kumar, Rajdeep, Bhanu, Monica Chauhan, Himani, Shivangi Singh, Ajay, Amit, Manas, Santosh, Pankaj, Kuldeep, R S Negi, Goswami, Rohit and Aryan, \u00a0were involved in the successful organiging\u00a0 these camp.\u00a0 It has been decided to hold such free medical camps in near future in Uttarakhand-<\/p>\n
