Dehradun, April 28<\/p>\n

The 14th Foundation Day of Graphic Era Hill University was celebrated with great enthusiasm,today. Speaking on the occasion, Graphic Era Group Institution\u2019s Vice Chairperson Rakhi Ghanshala said that creating an identity as a professional is not enough but it is euqlly important to be an excellent human. The real success is contributing to the betterment of the society, she added.<\/p>\n

After inaugurating the Foundation Day event, Vice Chairperson, Rakhi Ghanshala in her message said that the journey of Graphic Era Hill University is a journey of success. The students who have passed out from graphic Era are reaching to the annual packages of more than Rs.83 lakhs is a proof enough of the hard work and dedication of the university team during their \u00a0journey. She said that laboratories with world\u2019s latest technologies, world class faculty and the environment inspires to keep moving forward and creating something new.<\/p>\n

While mentioning that Graphic Era\u2019s management risked their lives and helped others during Covid, saving more than 50 thousand people from the virus and providing them food, \u00a0Rakhi Ghanshala said that during the times of disasters in the state, Graphic Era has always been the first to come forward to help the victims. She further said that the students who possess the feelings of empathy to feel the pain of others and the passion to help everyone in need are behind this and these vital feelings makes them a better person.<\/p>\n

She said that Graphic Era\u2019s alumini are working in more than 40 countries across the globe and are creating their own identity as skilled professionals and better human beings because they are sensitive people who feel happiness by making others happy.<\/p>\n

Vice Chairperson honoured faculty and staff members for their distinct works in the last decade. The honoured members include Dr. Subhash Gupta, Dr. Dibyahash Bordoloi, Dr. Mahesh Manchanda, Dr. Ajay Sharma, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Dr. Deepak Kholiya, Dr. Bindu Agarwal, Dr. Sweta Chauhan along with 68 others.<\/p>\n

Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. R. Gowri while addressing the Foundation Day celebration said that there were many hurdles in the fulfilling journey of the university and faculty members and students have played a vital role in its success. Research papers, patents, olympiads, blood donation, campaigns during natural disasters and cultural achievements are included in the university\u2019s many accomplishments. Speakers in the event said that under the guidance of Graphic Era Group of Institutions\u2019 Chairman Dr. Kamal Ghanshala, everyone gets inspired to prioritise new innovations and development while progressing in life.<\/p>\n

In the event, Team \u2018Devasthali\u2019 of Pragya Thapliyal, Atulya Bhatt, Aditi Uniyal, Raj Kunwar, with their Garhwali Dance. Srishti Dhashmana, Deepak Jaldi and Priyanshu Kunwar\u2019s songs, Pratibha\u2019s classical dance and Vishwas\u2019 flute boxing received appreciation from the audience. Before this, a film on university\u2019s achievements along with Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjay Jasola\u2019s message was played. Mrs. Rakhi Ghanshala also launched the newsletter titled \u2018Graphic Insight\u2019 of Media and Mass Communication Department. Faculty member Nupur Dubey convened the event. Registrar Dr. Arvind Dhar, Dean Agriculture Dr. Mukesh Kumar Nautiyal along with HODs, faculty members, staff and students were present.<\/p>\n
