Kasniyal<\/p>\n<p>Pithoragarh, May 17<\/p>\n<p>The Dehradun-Pantnagar-Pithoragarh air service, resumed on May 16 after fortnight \u00a0as flights of 19 seater aircraft service was closed due to smoke generated due to forest fires and other reasons, \u2018Fly\u00a0Big Aviation company officials which run the service informed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;From next week the \u2018Fly Big Aviation\u2019\u00a0company will run flights between Dehradun to Pantnagar \u00a0and Pithoragarh for 5 days in a week,&#8221; announced Shivani, General Manager (commercial) of Fly Big Aviation.<\/p>\n<p>Amidst criticism of closed air service to Pithoragarh\u00a0from Dehradun from last 15 days after it started on April 1, this year, BJP leader Ganesh Bhandari had announced that the service will resume from\u00a0May 16.&#8221;The \u00a0air services from PIthoragarh to New Delhi would start soon,&#8221; claimed Ganesh Bhandari, a senior BJP leader.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Helicopter services between Pantnagar-Pithoragarh-cHmapwat and Munsiyari started by Heritage Aviation could not be resumed. The people of the remote areas who appreciated the stars of heli services remain disappointed. It was believed that due to every increasing demand of helicopters by \u2018Char Dham Yatra\u2019 pilgrims, the helicopters for Kumoan heli services could be provided.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Air services to Pithoragarh resume B.D.
