Students from more than 30 countries showcase their culture at \u2018Global Village\u2019 celebrations held at Graphic Era University<\/p>\n

The diverse cultures from across the globe were celebrated at a function titled \u2018Global Village\u2019 at Graphic Era Deemed University, here today. Students from more than 30 countries studying in Graphic Era participated in \u2018Global Village\u2019 celebrations<\/p>\n
held in the B.Tech auditorium of the university.<\/p>\n
The program commenced with representatives from India along with many other countries hoisting their flags. It included representatives from France, Poland, Egypt, Turkey, Taiwan, Myanmar, South Africa, Nigeria, Liberia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Cameron, Botswana, Congo, Uganda, Zambia, Lesotho, Niger, Rwanda and Papua New Guinea. On this occasion many students wore their traditional attire and showcased their rich cultures through their performances.<\/p>\n
The program was beyond just vibrant performances as students from Egypt, Turkey, Liberia and Taiwan, put up their stalls featuring their traditional dishes. The interesting thing was the fact that the dishes were not being sold on these stalls but they were being served to other students gratuitously.<\/p>\n
In the Global Village, Graphic Era\u2019s Dean International Affairs Dr. D. R. Gangodkar gave information about the various facilities provided to the international students in the university. He also explained how students of Graphic Era can pursue one or two years of their courses in reputed international universities. The program was organised by International Association of Students in Economics and Business (AIESEC) in collaboration with Graphic Era University. Associate Dean of International Affairs Dr. Sachin Sharma, Executive of International Affairs Cell Suchit Arora, hundreds of students and parents were present in the program.<\/p>\n
