A major landslide occured at Tawaghat locality of Pithoragarh district. The landslide happened on the Dharchula-Lipulekh\u00a0road but no<\/a>\u00a0loss of lives and property was reported so far, according to \u00a0Pithoragarh District Magistrate Vinod Goswami. The landslide resulted into closure of Tawaghat- Lipulekh road\u00a0that will be opened soon claimed the DM.<\/p>\n

“SDM Dharchula and BRO officials have reached the spot and work on opening the main road to Lipulekh, at Indo-China border, is on,” said the DM.<\/p>\n

“The landslide, that occured at 11 am today, might probably have caused due to blasting of the road that is under construction above the main road, “said the DM.<\/p>\n
