Captain Narayan Singh (Retd.) of 12 Kumaon Regiment has emerged as a beacon of hope for the youth of remote hills of Bageshwar district. After retiring from the Indian Army in 2017, he dedicated his life in shaping the future of youngsters. He believed that there was no lack of talent amongst the but they only needed proper guidance and disciplined preparation for entering the armed forces.<\/p>\n

A resident of Runikhet village in Bageshwar district, Captain Narayan Singh (retd) returned home only to find that many promising youngsters of the mountains were failing to qualify for Army and police recruitment due to inadequate training and direction. Determined to change this, he founded the \u2018Youth India Academy\u2019\u2014a training centre that charges no fee, imposes no conditions, and demands only dedication, discipline, and a deep sense of patriotism.<\/p>\n

Located at Rawaikhal near Bageshwar, the academy provides rigorous physical training under Captain Singh\u2019s direct supervision. His passion and commitment are evident, as youth from Almora, Pithoragarh, Nainital, Pauri and several other districts are coming to join the training, often renting rooms nearby to prepare consistently.<\/p>\n

So far, more than 350 young men have been selected in the Army, police, and other services through his guidance. Recently, a batch of 55 candidates cleared the \u2018Agniveer\u2019 recruitment, setting a new record for the academy. All selected candidates credited their success to Captain Narayan Singh (retd), acknowledging his selfless mentorship and disciplined training.<\/p>\n

The academy grounds resonated with excitement and emotion as the selected youth gathered to celebrate their achievement with their mentor. Captain Narayan Singh (retd) congratulated all successful candidates and their families, extending heartfelt gratitude to everyone who continuously supported and encouraged his mission.<\/p>\n

Captain Narayan Singh (retd) says that the sole purpose of Youth India Academy is to prepare every aspirant for a brighter future through proper training, direction, and discipline. He firmly believes that with dedication, hard work, and the right guidance, no goal is unattainable.<\/p>\n

Setting an inspiring example of selfless service, Captain (Retd.) Narayan Singh continues to train alongside the youth each day with undiminished energy. His unwavering spirit has become a source of inspiration for thousands across Uttarakhand.<\/p>\n
