{"id":8203,"date":"2026-02-15T05:56:38","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T13:56:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thenortherngazette.com\/?p=8203"},"modified":"2026-02-15T05:56:38","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T13:56:38","slug":"gunji-to-jolingkong-road-opened-by-bro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thenortherngazette.com\/index.php\/2026\/02\/15\/gunji-to-jolingkong-road-opened-by-bro\/","title":{"rendered":"Gunji to Jolingkong road opened by BRO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Gunji to Jolingkong road opened by BRO<\/p>\n<p>B.D.Kasniyal<\/p>\n<p>Pithoragarh, Feb 15<\/p>\n<p>Border Roads Task Force (BRTF) of 65 Road Construction Company (RCC) of Border Roads Organisation today opened 36 km long Gunji to Jolingkong motor road leading to \u2018Adi Kailash\u2019, the road, situated at 14500 feet high Himalayan region which was closed after January 23, due to heavy snowfall of over 10 feet.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The road could be opened with the help of 5 JCB machines and local labourers who continued the work of removing the snow working dedicatedly in minus 15 degree celsius temperature,&#8221; said Col.
