Graphic Era\u2019s Unnati to lead Indian women squash junior team to China<\/p>\n

Unnati Tripathi, a student of Graphic Era University will lead the Indian squash team in China. She has been appointed captain of the Indian team for the 33rd Asian Junior Individual Squash Championship.<\/p>\n
Unnati Tripathi is a first year BA (English) student at Graphic Era Deemed University. Her father, Hariom Tripathi, is a well-known squash coach. Unnati will represent India in the Girls Under19 category at the 33rd Asian Junior Individual Squash Championship to be held in China from May 20 to 24. She has been named captain of the Indian team for this prestigious tournament. During the national selection trials, Unnati delivered an outstanding performance, winning all her matches without losing a single set throughout the tournament. Owing to her remarkable performance, she has emerged as India\u2019s number one player in the Girls Under19 category.<\/p>\n
At a young age, Unnati Tripathi has already established herself at both national and international levels through her impressive performances. She won a silver medal at the Three-Star National Circuit Squash Tournament, a bronze medal in the team event at the National Games Goa, and a gold medal at the Northern Slam Indian Junior Open in Mumbai. Internationally, she has represented India in the Asian Junior Championship held in Seoul (Korea), the World Junior Championship in Cairo, as well as tournaments in Macau, Dalian, Islamabad, Boston, and the USA.<\/p>\n
Chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institutions, Dr. Kamal Ghanshala said that Unnati\u2019s achievements prove that with dedication, discipline, and continuous hard work, Indian youth can set new benchmarks of success not only at the national but also at the international level. He expressed confidence that under Unnati\u2019s captaincy, the Indian team will bring glory to the nation by achieving victory in China.<\/p>\n
It is noteworthy that five students from Graphic Era have represented India at the Olympics. Sneha Rana, a member of the World Championship winning women\u2019s cricket team, is also a student of Graphic Era.<\/p>\n
