Yakshawati, the \u2018Puranik\u2019 rivulet, which flows in Pithoragarh town, will be rejuvenated \u00a0with a budget of Rs 5.35 crore sanctioned under Spring and River Rejuvenation Scheme (SARA), Bharat Singh, deputy project director of SARA \u00a0said.<\/p>\n
“To increase natural water flow in all 8 natural sources of Yakshawati, water tanks, check dams, besides dense plantation will be completed at surrounding all these sources in next two years,” claimed the deputy project director.<\/p>\n
Besides Yakshawati in Pithoragarh town, Ghatigad of Didihat, Titargad\u00a0 and Gurghatiya gad of Berinag will also be rejuvenated under the project in next 2 years<\/p>\n
