\u00a085 missing persons reunited with their families<\/strong><\/p>\n B.D.Kasniyal<\/strong><\/p>\n Pithoragarh, Sept 24<\/strong><\/p>\n Police in Pithoragarh have succeeded in tracing and reuniting 85 missing persons with their families out of 89 persons reported missing between January 1 and September 10 this year, Circle Officer Govind Ballabh Joshi said.<\/p>\n \u201cOur Anti-Human Trafficking Unit is making every effort to trace the remaining missing persons from the district,\u201d Joshi said.<\/p>\n According to Joshi, after family members failed to trace their relatives, they lodged missing-person reports with the police. The police subsequently formed teams and used surveillance and other modern techniques to trace their locations in different states, including Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Gujarat and Punjab.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter completing the required legal formalities, we handed over all the traced missing persons to their respective families.
