Consider challenges as thrill of journey: Dr. Ghanshala
Dehradun, Oct 14                                         The first session of Graphic Era Medical College started from today  as the first batch of MBBS commenced with foundation course. While inaugurating the new session, Founding President of Graphic Era Dr. Kamal Ghanshala taught skills of achieving success in life to future doctors.
In the Silver Jubilee Convention Centre of Graphic Era today, th first session of Graphic Era Medical Sciences started with performances showcasing the glimpses of cultures of various states.
On the first day of new session, Chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institutions Dr. Kamal Ghanshala described the changes related to the rules of establishing Medical College that happened during the last phase. He said that challenges usually come in new path. He told  the future doctors that instead of taking challenges as challenges take them as thrill of journey and work hard. It is essential for achieving success in life.
Dr. Ghanshala advised medical students to be careful while using digital media, keeping distance from people with negative thoughts and insecurity and connecting with positive thinking people. He emphasized on never letting the situation of communication gap arise. Things can take terrible turn even without wanting them to. Whenever the situation of communication gap arises, one should come forward and clear all the doubts with facts.
Chairman Dr. Kamal Ghanshala advised students to keep discipline and spirit of service paramount, being careful while travelling and always respecting parents. He said that he has been going to Medical College for three days and nights continuously and working to ensure that students coming from all over the country get the best amenities. Dr. Ghanshala sang a song describint the parents’ state of mind who leave their children in hotels and said that sometimes expectations are the reason for shedding tears. On the first day of foundation course, a short film based on the starting days of construction and progress of Graphic Era Medical College and Hospital till now. Before this, students of MBBS and their parents took a tour of University campus.
On this occasion, Sukriti Group of Mehek Kakadiya and team performed Saraswati Vandana, Devasthali Group of Pragya Thapliyal and team’s dance drama based on Seeta Haran and culture of Uttarakhand received cheers and applauses. Jashn E Veera Group of Daksh Chaudhary, Pragya Karnwal, etc performed Bhangra, Swaragini Band of Shiyansh Navani, Amogh Bhatt, etc. gave spectacular performance through their group band. Chairman Dr. Ghanshala awarded cash prize of 51 thousand rupees to Devasthali Group and Jashn E Veera, 31 thousand rupees to to Swaragini Band and 21 thousand rupees to Sukriti Group. Aditya Agnihotri hosted the programme. According to the directions of National Medical Commission foundation course will go on 14 days. Coat ceremony will take place on the last day.
In the first batch of Graphic Era’s MBBS course students Uttarakhand, U.P. New Delhi, Maharashtra, Bihar, Hariyana, Rajasthan, M.P. Karnataka, Assam, Tripura along with 18 states are included. On the first day of foundation course, after seeing the arrangements of University, Medical College and Hospital, parents and new students were seen elated. Parents appreciated the struggles and working style of Chairman.
