Mock drill on fire safety held at Graphic Era Hospital

Experts taught the staff members of Graphic Era Hospital various fire fighting methods at a mock drill on fire incidents caused by gas cylinder, chemicals, paper and other types of fire conducted by the Uttarakhand Fire and Emergency services, at the hospital here today.
The experts demonstrated different types of fire incidents and provided practical training on how to extinguish them. The mock drill was conducted in Graphic Era Hospital today to spread awareness about the precautions to be taken in case of a fire. During the mock drill, experts from the Fire Department trained the staff on carefully extinguishing fire in different situations. They demonstrated live techniques for putting out fire caused by LPG gas cylinders, electrical equipments, chemicals, wood and paper. Fire brigade was also used in the demonstration. Later, the experts inspected fire control equipments installed at Graphic Era Hospital.
The Mock drill was organized by Graphic Era Hospital in collaboration with Uttarakhand Fire and Emergency Services. In the drill, Fire Station Officer Isam Singh and his team members Satish, Shiv Kumar, Lokesh Kumar, Ravindra, Manoj, Kajal, Manisha and Jyoti were present.
