UKD appeals to youth to join hands with spirit of statehood movement

Ashish Negi, a youth leader of Uttarakhand Kranti Dal (UKD) appealed to the youth of the state to come forward to save the basic assets of Uttarakhand as they had come unitedly during statehood movement to create the state.
“The state of Uttarakhand requires a new movement to own it’s natural properties for it’s coming generations so that they could have abundance of nature what our ancestors had,”said the UKD youth wing leader while addressing party workers here today.
Negi was speaking at a rally organised by Uttarakhand Kranti Dal at Gandhi chowk in of Pithoragarh today.” Until the educated youths will not feel importance of prosperity of next generation based on its natural resources and feel proud of their own resources, we cannot teach our present and coming generations self- respect, “said Negi.
Kashi Singh Airy one of the veteran leader and top leader of the statehood movement has said that due to wrong policies of the last 25 years governments in the state, the state today is under a debt of Rs.85000 crore. “The respective governments could not recover the assets grabbed by UP even today because the mainstream ruling parties in the state in last 25 years had their stakes in UP and other states as well.” These parties have belied the hopes and aspirations of statehood movement and the sacrifices of 42 statehood martyrs,” said Airy.
The youth wing of the party also organised a procession in the town, that attracted large number of youth Prominent amongst those who were present were Girish Dora, Ram Singh, city president, Girtish Joshi, city general secretary, Kuldeep Rawat, Deepak Daundiyal, Raja Bisht, Divyanshu Madhwal, Vinod Rawat, Shyam Singh Rawat Ayush Rawat and others .
