Doctors and nurses also donated blood at Graphic Era Hospital
Dehradun, June 16
On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, doctors, nursing staff, and other employees at Graphic Era Hospital donated 115 units of blood.
For this, a two-day voluntary blood donation camp was organized at Graphic Era Hospital. On this occasion, Medical Director Dr. Puneet Tyagi said that blood donation is not merely a means of saving lives, but also a symbol of our compassion towards humanity and our social responsibility. He said that Graphic Era Hospital is playing a leading role in promoting blood donation and other public welfare initiatives.
Dr. (Capt.) Nalin Bhatia and Yogita Munjal from the Blood Bank said that blood was collected only after the health examination and screening of the donors. The collected blood will be used for the treatment of injured and needy patients.
