Dusshera celebrated at Graphic Era University

An effigy of ‘Ravana; the demon king was burnt as a symbol of the victory of truth over falsehood at Graphic Era University today. A 32-feet-tall effigy of ‘Ravana’ went up in blazing flames as the entire campus echoed with chants of “Jai Shri Ram.” The Paper Techy team of Graphic Era University, which had prepared the effigy, was awarded with ₹51,000.
On this occasion, Chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institutions Dr. Kamal Ghanshala addressed the students and urged them to move ahead in life with goodness and positive thinking, leaving behind all negativity in every situation. The confluence of devotional songs and loud chants filled the atmosphere with a divine aura of faith and culture.
The program was graced by Pro Chancellor of Graphic Era Deemed University Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor Dr. Narpinder Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Santosh S. Sarraf, Registrar Dr. Naresh Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Hill University Dr. Amit R. Bhatt, Registrar Dr. D.K. Joshi, along with teachers and students.
