Freshers’ Day at Graphic Era for B.Tech students

Amid applause, lights, and excitement, Graphic Era Deemed University’s Freshers’ Day brought an unforgettable evening for the new B.Tech students. It was not just a formal welcome, but a celebration filled with fun, music, and friendship that gave every fresher a sense of belonging and a glimpse of the university’s warm and vibrant culture.

The program began with power-packed performances. Some swayed to Bollywood tunes, while others grooved to Western beats. Students from Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, and other departments brought the stage alive with singing, dancing, drama, and a dazzling fashion show.

The highlight of the evening was the fashion show round, where the newcomers turned the stage into a ramp with their personality and confidence. Then came the much-awaited moment—the announcement of title holders. Amid thunderous applause and colorful lights, the title of Mr. Fresher was conferred upon Ritansh, while Manisha was crowned Miss Fresher. Alongside, Divansh received the title of Mr. Elegant and Jia was crowned Miss Elegant. The title of Mr. Dazzler went to Ansh, while Gauri was crowned Miss Dazzler.

The event was held at the main ground of Graphic Era Deemed University. Present on the occasion were Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Santosh S. Sarraf, Registrar Dr. Naresh Kumar Sharma, Dean International Affairs Dr. D.R. Gangodkar, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department Dr. Kapil Kumar Sharma, Head of Computer Science Engineering Department Dr. Devesh P. Singh, Head of Electronics and Communication Department Dr. Irfanul Hasan, Head of Civil Engineering Department Dr. Keerat Kumar Gupta, Head of Aerospace Department Dr. Sudhir Joshi, along with faculty members and students.
