Initiative to connect students with sustainable employment at Graphic Era University

The students at Graphic Era were provided information about sustainable employment opportunities, green careers, and future-ready skills.
At Graphic Era Deemed University, a special session on Green Jobs was organized today. Explaining the importance of sustainable employment, Outreach Manager of Waste Warrior NGO, Mr. Avadesh Pundir, said that connecting youth with cleanliness drives and sensitising them towards sustainable jobs is the need of the hour. This will not only promote a clean environment but will also provide youth with a source of income. This initiative offers students an opportunity to choose careers according to their skills and interests.
During the session, detailed information on cleanliness drives, waste management, and volunteering activities was shared through presentations.
The session was jointly organized by the PDP Department of Graphic Era Deemed University and the Waste Warrior Committee. PDP Department Head Dr. Sakshi Gupta, Assistant Outreach Manager Oceanika Bhatt, Dr. Taruna Anand, Dr. Shahbaz Begum, Vibhav Ghosh, along with other faculty members and students, were present. The session was conducted by Medhavi Bishnoi.
