Second batch of ‘Kailash Mansarowar yatris’ crossed into Tibet

‘Kailash Mansarowar yatra’ from Lipulekh pass is in progress as 48 members of second batch entered Tibet from Lipulekh pass at 9 am today. .

“While the second batch crossed over to Tibet, the 47 members third batch reached Gunji camp for 2 nights stay. The first batch is in ‘Kailash parikrama’ path in Tibet and will return at Lipulekh pass on July 19th,”said Dhan Singh Bisht, in charge of Kumoan Mandal Vikas Nigam (KMVN) base camp at Dharchula.

A total of 500 Kailash pilgrims have been allowed to have the yatra this year. The yatris have been divided in 10 batches.
