UPCL to organize multi-purpose camps across the state for convenience of power consumers and achieve 100 per cent revenue targets

As per the instructions of the Managing Director Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited Anil Kumar Yadav , multi-purpose camps/mega camps are being organized across the state for the convenience of power consumers. Instructions have been given to all the officers to give priority to the convenience of consumers with an aim to get 100% revenue. The Managing Director also directed the senior officers to personally attend the camps being organized at the sub-division level from time to time to monitor the progress and to ensure that issues like new electricity connections, resolution of problems related to metering and billing etc. are resolved on priority basis. The Managing Director also directed all the Directors and all the other officers under them to achieve 100% revenue collection against the revenue targets as follows:-
- The Managing Director, UPCL directed all the officers block wise to achieve 100% revenue collection against the revenue target and to organize mega camps/camps in all the subdivisions and publicize it.
- All the officers in the blocks were directed to issue notices against the connections with outstanding amount and to recover the previous dues as well.
- Except for unavoidable circumstances, all the officers will ensure the action of revenue collection by being present in their respective headquarters and the divisions, divisions and subdivisions with better performance will be honored.
- To make maximum consumers avail the benefits of online services provided by UPCL, increase the revenue obtained through online medium, establish better connectivity with consumers and provide bills to consumers through SMS’s. All the field officers will run a comprehensive campaign to collect mobile numbers of all electricity consumers in their area and ensure that the mobile numbers of consumers are registered in the system.
