Grafest-26: A unique confluence of technology, thrill, and culture

The second day of Grafest-26 was dedicated to technology, mystery, and creativity. The thrill of car racing, the investigation of CID Files, and engaging competitions of innovative cooking made ‘Grafest’ extremely interesting. The charm of cultural programs also continued in the fest.

On the second day of ‘Grafest-26’, students from 17 states of the country and from across India and abroad studying at Graphic Era showcased their technical and cultural talents with great enthusiasm. Every corner of Graphic Era Deemed University reflected vibrant glimpses of participants’ skills and innovation through various activities.

In RC Car Racing, students were seen testing their technical skills on the track with remote-controlled cars, where the combination of high-speed navigation, micro-level control, and smart engineering design turned the competition into a live technical challenge. In the RC Car Racing competition, Team Inder (Sawan Rawat, Nishchay Adhikari, and Kanika Singh) from Graphic Era Hill University secured first position, Team Mark-II (Harsh and Neha) secured second position, while Team Purvanchal (Vaibhav Singh, Ashish Gupta, and Sanskar Pandey) from Graphic Era Deemed University secured third position.

In the AI model competition “The Neural Nexus,” participants presented smart solutions for real-life complex problems with the help of AI and Machine Learning. From image processing to natural language processing and advanced data analysis, every project clearly reflected technical depth and creative thinking. Teams from various institutions participated in the competition, including Team Hack Next from Graphic Era Deemed University and Team Epoch from Graphic Era Hill University, along with students from ten other universities.

In the culinary competition, students showcased their cooking skills, where the aroma of delicious dishes prepared from limited ingredients filled the entire campus. Participants presented Korean, Indian, and Italian cuisines, including attractive dishes like Katsu Curry, Gyoza, Mochi, Cream Stuffed Mushrooms, Chicken Rolled, and Strawberry Cheesecake. In the competition, Priyanshu and Zunaira from Graphic Era Deemed University secured first position, Navdeep and Sujal from Uttaranchal University secured second position, and Garvit and Abhinav from Graphic Era Hill University secured third position.

In the CID Files competition, students were seen engaged in closely examining crime scenes, where the challenge of connecting clues to reach the truth filled the atmosphere with mystery and thrill. Participants included Rohan, Ishmeet, and Aarti from Chitkara University, along with Disha, Tanya, and Mohit from Graphic Era Deemed University, among many others.

In the “Blossom in Harmony” competition, students were seen shaping their creativity through flowers, preparing beautiful floral arrangements using different flowers and leaves, presenting a unique blend of art and aesthetics. In this competition, Royal and Atharva from Graphic Era secured first position, Yashasvi and Anjali secured second position, while Sneha secured third position. Throughout the day, different parts of the campus showcased unique glimpses of talent.
