Teachers from 20 Schools Learn the Nuances of AI Tools
Dehradun, August 29. Teachers from 20 schools received training in AI tools, Generative AI, Prompt Engineering and other modern AI technologies at Graphic Era Global School.
A workshop on the theme ‘AI in Education’ was organised at Graphic Era Global School to familiarise teachers with various modern AI technologies. Teachers from 20 schools in Dehradun participated in the workshop. These included Graphic Era Global School, Pine Hall School, St. Xavier’s School, Shivalik International School, Moravian Institute, Flower Dale School, The Presidency International School, St. Jude’s School, Hilton’s School, Shigally Hill International Academy and The Asian School, among others.
Experts from Graphic Era Deemed University introduced the teachers to various aspects of AI, ranging from its fundamentals to its practical applications in the field of education. The experts shared insights into Generative AI, Machine Learning and the future of AI in education. They also explained the use of modern AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini and Canva AI, along with ways in which these tools can make teaching more effective.
The workshop was organised by Graphic Era Global School in collaboration with Graphic Era Deemed University. Graphic Era Global School Principal Raj Kumar Trehan, along with experts from Graphic Era Deemed University Dr. Siddhant Thapliyal, Dr. Arun Chauhan, Chitransh Bose and Garima Sharma, as well as other teachers, were present on the occasion.
