2,141 voters added to Pithoragarh district electoral rolls after SIR

A total of 2,141 voters have been added to the electoral rolls across all four Assembly constituencies of Pithoragarh district following completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process. The final electoral rolls were released today, according to a press note issued by the District Election Officer (DEO).
The final electoral rolls include 1,75,865 male voters and 1,67,771 female voters across the four Assembly constituencies.
According to the DEO, the total number of voters in the district stood at 3,41,497 before the SIR process began. During the revision, 4,711 names were added through Form 6, while 2,570 names were deleted through Form 7. Consequently, the total number of voters increased by 2,141.
The Pithoragarh Assembly constituency has the highest number of voters at 92,951, followed by Gangolihat with 92,887, Dharchula with 81,464 and Didihat with 76,336 voters, according to the final electoral rolls released after completion of the SIR process.
