Debathon on ‘land laws in Uttarakhand’ held at Graphic Era Hill University
Dehradun, March 10 Former Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand Indu Kumar Pandey has emphasized the need for sustainable development and growth for the overall balanced development of Uttarakhand. He was participating in a ‘Debathon’ organized at Graphic Era Hill University on the issue of “land laws in Uttarakhand’.
He further said that only the best solution for agricultural land in the state will yield favorable benefits.
Senior High Court advocate VP Nautiyal said that It was necessary to understand the geographical location and social condition of Uttarakhand for its’ holistic and sustainable development. He called for right changes necessary for the overall development of the people of the state.
Jai Singh Rawat, a senior journalist deliberated on the prevailing land laws and its background. The students participated in various activities on the occasion. In the overall discussion section students presented their views on the current scenario of the country. In this competition, first place was won by Tafaja Peshan while the second place was won by Kaushal and third place by Ankit Tyagi. The program was organized by the Debating Society of Graphic Era Hill University.
