He further said that the Prime Minister narendra Modi should be elected for the third consecutive term as he has sanctioned a sum of Rs 1.50 lakh crore for various developmental schemes for Uttarakhand.” While previous Congress party governments used to talk of lack of funds for development, the Modi government has surplus funds available for every demand of people,” said Dhami.
Dhami said that Modi was the first Prime Minister who had visited ‘Adi Kailash’ and Gunji to get these religious place an identity in the country.” With his blessings, we have started ‘Manas Khand Mandir Mala’ project to link every ‘Puranic’ temple of Kumaon region in a circuit,” said the Chief Minister.

We are running helicopter services from Pithoragarh, Munsiyari and Champawaat and air services from PIthoragarh. We are running nine trains from Tanakpur today and plan to link Bageshwar with rail and Jauljibi with road from Tanakpur in next tenure,” said Dhami
BJP candidate Ajay Tamta and Didihat MLA Bishan Singh Chufal also spoke on the occasion.”Prime Minister Modi has special attachment with Uttarakhand state and he has on several occasions expressed it also,” said Tamta.
Responding to Chief minister’s claims and allegations against Congress party, Congress candidate from Almora Pradeep Tamta said that BJP is fully promoting ‘Pariwarvad’ and promoting family members of its senior leaders.”What about Pankaj Singh, son of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and what about cricketing qualification of Jay Shah, son of Union Home Minister Amit Shah besides other family members of BJP leaders who got party nominations in elections,” said Pradeep Tamta.
On claims of Chief Minister that only BJP do development, the Congress candidate said that the rail projects of Tanakpur to Bageshwar and road project of Tanakpur to Jauljibi were sanctioned during Congress regime.”The BJP government has finished special status of Uttarakhand state and special funds for border states of the country, besides it has finished permanent army jobs by introducing ‘Agniveer’ scheme. The BJP leaders are biggest lairs and hypocrites who are exporting beef and claiming to be ‘Gau Bhakts’ in public. It reflects the dual character of that party,” charged Pradeep Tamta.
