Successful Treatment of Complex Cyst at Graphic Era Hospital

Specialist doctors at Graphic Era have successfully removed a 30-centimeter mass from a young woman’s uterus through open laser surgery.
The young woman, a resident of Roorkee, had been suffering from abdominal swelling and discomfort for a long time. Examination revealed a 30-centimeter cyst in her uterus, containing approximately three litres of fluid. At Graphic Era Hospital, Consultant Gynaecologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon Dr. Divya Mishra, during laparoscopic surgery, successfully removed not only the 30-centimeter large cyst but also two other cysts measuring 5 cm and 7 cm on the right side. Special care was taken to preserve the healthy uterus, which is extremely important for the patient’s future. The patient experienced less pain and minimal blood loss during the surgery. She was able to walk soon and was discharged in a healthy condition within just 48 hours.
