The 49-member first batch of ‘Kailash Mansarowar yatra’ today returned at Lipulekh pass at 9 am, after completing its yatra.
Simultaneously the 3rd batch of Indian pilgrims entered Tibet at same time.
“The first batch will stay at Bundi camp of nodal agency Kumoan Mandal Vikas Nigam (KMVN) today,” said Dhan Singh Bisht incharge of base camp at Dharchula.
According to the nodal agency official, while the second batch of 47 pilgrims is inside Tibet completing its Yatra rituals, the third batch has entered into Tibet from the pass today.” We have stopped the 50 members of fourth batch at base camp Dharchula as the road to Gunji is blocked near Garbadhar due to heavy landslide on the road,” said the base camp incharge.
