Vibrant stunning dresses on ramp showcased at Uttarangam-24’ at Graphic Era Deemed university

Dehradun, May 27

Young designers showcased their designs starting a new revolution in the field of apparel design at the Graphic Era Deemed University today. The clothes made by these designers surprised the audience at ‘Uttarangam-24’ organized on ‘Sustainability-A Global Gold Theme’ on the ramp at the university today. These clothes are designed in such a way that they hide many types of physical deficiencies.

In Uttarangam-24, models wearing different types of clothes were seen creating a splash in the ramp walk. Looking at the ready-made garments, it seemed like they had been designed by experienced designers. In the fashion show, young designers gave the audience a feel of high fashion design. In this, designers prepared various designs as per their inspiration such as  Jigyasa Arora’s Ardhanareshwar, Riddhi Gupta, Niharika Kapil’s Navras, Vanshika Arora’s Thayyam, Ishita Mittal’s Essence of Flora, Jyoti Sharma’s unisex costume, Tanya Rana’s Illusion Garments, Vaishnavi Gupta’s Renesas and Sakshi Rawat’s Cyber Pankh were showcased.

Director General of Uttarakhand State Science and Technology Council, Dr. Durgesh Pant said that students of Graphic Era are very  creative and praised the designs made by students.  Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Hill University, Dr. Sanjay Jasola said that the students have achieved achievements at the international level by making garments from hemp and nettle.

This unique fashion show was organized by the Fashion Design Department of Graphic Era Hill University. The fashion show was organized at the Silver Jubilee Convention Centre. In the fashion show Graphic Era Hill University Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. R. Gauri, H.O. D. Amrit Das, Zonal Head of Bazaar India Neeraj Kumar,  National Institute of Fashion Design, New Delhi,Dr. Kusum Chopra, Delhi University Shashi Choudhary ,fashion designer Khushi Chauhan, teachers, parents and students were presented.
