UPCL brace itself for proposed National Games to be held in Uttarakhand

For the success of the 38th National Games, 2025  proposed to be held from January 28, to  February 14, 2025 in Uttarakhand, Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) has appointed nodal officers in the concerned district where games are scheduled to ensure smooth power supply.

As per the order of the state Government, Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd. has been nominated as a member of the coordination committee constituted for organizing the National Games.  N.S. Bisht, Chief Engineer-Distribution, Garhwal Region, UPCL, Dehradun for Dehradun and Haridwar region and  Narendra Singh Tolia, Chief Engineer-Distribution, Rudrapur Region, UPCL, Rudrapur for Kumaon and Rudrapur region have been nominated at the corporation level to assist in the guidance of  M.R. Arya, Director-Operation, UPCL.

In compliance with the instructions given by Anil Kumar Yadav, Managing Director, Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd. for uninterrupted power supply during the sports event, an inspection of the Maharana Pratap Sports Complex, Raipur, Dehradun was done by Director (Operation),  M.R. Arya, Chief Engineer-Distribution, Garhwal Region,  N.S. Bisht and other concerned officers with a view to timely completion of the proposed required works.

Along with the above, necessary arrangements have been completed by Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd. to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the respected consumers of the state in winter season.
