UPCL resolved major problems of more than a hundred power consumers this year

Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) is committed to resolve any type of electricity related problems of electricity consumers at a fast pace.
Under the leadership and guidance of Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami ji,
Anil Kumar Yadav , Managing Director of UPCL informed that under the leadership and guidance of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, this year all complaints related to interruption in power supply have been resolved on the spot by UPCL and the remaining complaints, which mainly included problems of consumers regarding shifting of lines/poles/transformers etc. Related to under-construction houses/constructed houses/schools/hospitals etc., are being resolved in a phased manner.
In compliance with the instructions of the UPCL Managing Director this year (from the month of January) till date, more than 100 cases of shifting of lines, poles and transformers have been completed on time even taking help from MLA fund. In these cases, the maximum number of 12 cases were in Electricity Distribution Division (South) and Electricity Distribution Division, Ramnagar (Nainital) and the minimum number of only one case each were in reported from Electricity Distribution Division, Roorkee (Rural), Electricity Distribution Division, Ranikhet, Electricity Distribution Division, Barkot, Electricity Distribution Division, Haldwani (Rural), Electricity Distribution Division, Gopeshwar, Electricity Distribution Division, Bhikiyasain and Electricity Distribution Division, Kashipur.
The Managing Director, UPCL directed all the regional officers to ensure that all the consumer service centres/revenue collection centres of UPCL have safe and comfortable seating arrangements, separate line for depositing bills and necessary action is taken to resolve electricity related problems on priority basis for the convenience and ease of the disabled, women and senior citizens.
