Graphic Era showcases global village culture of 29 countries

Dehradun, July 30: Through the Global Village event at Graphic Era, new students were introduced to the university’s international collaborations and cultural diversity.
This event not only aimed to connect students to the global platform but also became a vibrant stage where cultures from around the world came alive together. The program began with an inspiring session by Dean of International Affairs Dr. D.R. Gangodkar, in which he informed students about Graphic Era’s partnerships with universities in countries such as Russia, Germany, the Philippines, and the UK. These partnerships offer opportunities like studying a few semesters in abroad, pursuing master’s degrees, internships, and learning foreign languages. Additionally, PR and Marketing Head Mr. Sahab Sablok encouraged students to apply for passports, saying that this would be the first step toward their international dreams.
The most captivating part of the event was the effort to connect everyone with various global cultures simultaneously. Both Indian and international students mesmerized the audience with cultural performances. A food exhibition was also organized where Indian and foreign students showcased delicious dishes from their respective cultures. The new students got the chance to experience and relish cuisines from countries like Myanmar, Nepal, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan, France, Guinea, and more.
The event was organized by the International Affairs Cell. Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Santosh S. Sarraf and International Affairs Executive Mr. Suchit Arora were present at the event.
