Eleven local youth selected to be radio jockeys by army in Pithoragarh

Pithoragarh, Feb 8

Eleven local youth were shortlisted as probable radio jockeys of coming generation in Pithoragarh district after completion of ‘Soar Ghati RJ hunt competition’, organised here by ‘CRS Panchashul Pulse’, the community FM of Panchashul brigade of Indian army.

“The RJ hunt competition organised for local youths was aimed to find next sensation of airwaves of Soar Ghati,” said Manish Singhal, head of the FM station.

“The shortlisting of 11 young students talent as radio jockeys, was based on the showcasing of their creativity, voice modulation spontaneity and their capacity on the air presence, ” said Singhal.

Brigadier Gautam Pathania of Panchashul brigade, felicitated the winners after the final programme held at Panchshul auditorium and said that the competition is a successful initiative by ‘CRS Panchashul’, to create a meaningfully platform to encourage local talent.
