Blood Donation camp at Graphic Era University

Dehradun, 9 February. In a blood donation camp organized at Graphic Era, 280 students donated blood. Uttarakhand’s Higher Education and Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that blood donation not only saves others’ lives but is also beneficial for the donor’s health. Only a blood donor can save the life of someone who needs blood.
State Education and Medical Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat today suddenly reached Graphic Era to inspect the camp. He appreciated Graphic Era’s social commitment and described students’ efforts to share each other’s joys and sorrows as inspiring. In the camp, Additional Director Higher Education Dr. Anand Singh Uniyal donated blood for the 150th time, setting an inspiring example in the field of social service.
Around 600 students from various courses underwent health check-ups, out of which 280 students donated blood. In the camp, 100 students donated blood for the first time.
The blood donation camp was organized by the NSS team of Graphic Era Deemed University. In this camp, NSS Coordinator Dr. A. S. Shukla, Deputy Registrar Dr. Anil Chauhan, Dr. Anjar Ahmed, and Nikesh Joshi also donated blood.
