Awareness session on POSH Law held at Graphic Era

Experts at Graphic Era provided detailed information on workplace equality, the POSH Act, and the rights and responsibilities associated with it.
A session on the topic ‘POSH Law and Workplace Challenges’ was organized today at Graphic Era Deemed University. Addressing the session, the Chief Guest, Director of the Dehradun Chapter of the Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD) Dr. A.C. Joshi said that the POSH Act is not just a legal provision but a strong initiative to ensure safety, dignity, and equality at the workplace, which everyone must understand and adopt. Through a presentation, he shared information related to POSH and highlighted ways to deal with such issues, the complaint process, and the importance of awareness.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Narpinder Singh stated that it is essential to instill values of equality, mutual respect, and proper behavior in students from an early stage. ISTD Dehradun Chapter’s Chairman Anup Kumar and Secretary Rajendra Singh also addressed the session.
The session was organized by the Department of Personality Development of Graphic Era Deemed University. Head of the PDP Department, Dr. Sakshi Gupta, Head of the Biosciences Department, Dr. Manu Pant, along with Dr. Gopalkrishna Dwivedi, Dr. Taruna Anand, Shweta Bajaj, other faculty members, and students were present in the session.
