Abhishek Joshi from HNB Garhwal University won the first prize in paper presentation category on the last day of National Conference on Radiation, organized at Graphic Era University, here today.
In the three day National Conference organized at Graphic Era Deemed University, more than 35 paper presentations and more than 85 poster presentations were presented. In the valedictory session of this conference, Prof. Tibor Kovacs won second prize in paper presentation category. Vinay Rawat from SGRR won third prize in the same category. The first prize in poster presentation category was awarded to Krishna Pal Singh of PNG Government Degree College, Ramnagar. Beant Kaur from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala won second prize and Sania from Zakir Hussain College, New Delhi won third prize in the poster presentation category.
The National Conference was organized by Department of Physics in association with National Radon Network Society. HoD Dr. Fateh Singh Gill, President of RADNET Prof. R. C. Ramola, Vice President Prof. B. S Bajwa, Coordinator Prof. Kuldeep Singh, Senior Researcher at Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru Dr. S. A. Pandit, Convener Dr. Sanjeev Kimothi, Scientists, Researchers and PhD scholars from across the globe were present in the conference.
