The students of Graphic Era Deemed University who have bagged the placement offers up to Rs. 53.82 lakhs were felicitated with their parents by the university at a felicitation function held here today. The students who secured an annual packages of more than fifty lakh rupees were given cash prizes of 1 lakh rupees each. Graphic Era Group of Institutions’ Chairman Dr. Kamal Ghanshala invoked students to keep the spirit of learning alive in them in order to accept the technological changes.
In the Silver Jubilee Convention Centre, Graphic Era Group of Institutions’ Chairman Dr. Kamal Ghanshala and Vice Chairperson Rakhi Ghanshala presented commendation letter and cash prizes to students and their parents who have created placement records. Chairman Dr. Kamal Ghanshala while addressing the ceremony said that it does not matter where the students are coming from. Placement records prove that children coming from small towns and cities are also reaching greater heights at the start of their careers. More than 36 students from Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh along with Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, New Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Chattisgarh and JandK have received amazing packages.
He said that this achievement is just the start of many challenges that will come ahead. Hard work, team spirit and the feeling of acceptance will help students not only in facing these challenges but will also help in sustaining in this era of ever changing technology. Keeping the spirit of leaning ignited is important. Dr. Kamal Ghanshala advised students to dream big and focus on their goals and care for their parents as well.
While mentioning about Graphic Era Hospital he said that the hospital has the latest technologies with best facility of doctors for general public. On public demand from audience, Dr. Ghanshala sang a song “Ruk Jana nahi tu kabhi haar ke”… and motivated the students to keep moving forward in life.
The students and their parents, who received amazing packages, credited Chairman Dr. Kamal Ghanshala, who himself takes classes regularly, world class laboratories and faculty members for their success. In this session, with a package of 53.82 Lakh and 50.91 Lakh students of Btech Computer Science Engineering Pranjali Saxena ( Bulandsheher) and Adarsh Negi (Dehradun), Ansh Rathore (Saharanpur) and Mukul Rawat (Rishikesh) with package of 50 Lakh rupees in DE Shaw, Upendra Pandit (Dehradun) with a package of 49.20 in Volvo , Aryan Gupta (Dehradun) with a package of 40.56 Lakh in CERN, Prakhar Dhyani (Dehradun), Divya Goyal (Saharanpur), Shailja Bahuguna (Dehradun), Ipsita Mukherjee (Bihar) and Shreya Sharma (Dehradun) with package of 34.40 in PayPal and Shreya Sharma (Haridwar) with a package of 34 Lakh in Meesho along with 37 students who secured annual packages from 15.22 Lakh upto 29.40 Lakh were awarded cash prizes.
Apart from this Anmol Narang and Ayush Bisht got placed in Japanese company Morabu Hanshin with package of 13.50 Lakh, Garima Singh, Sharaddha Bahuguna, Riya Bhatt, Tanisha, Sukriti Narang, Tanvi Nautiyal with a package of 11 Lakh rupees in National Australian Bank were also felicitated. Till now in this session, more than 1680 students from Graphic Era Deemed University, Graphic Era Hill University’s Dehradun, Bhimtal and Haldwani campus have already been placed. And the
placements are still going on. MBA students Kiran Chauhan, Priya Rawat , Vaibhav Negi, Muskan Goyal, Divya Dave and Yash Chauhan and MCA students Maneesh dev , Abhishek Kumar Pandey, Neha Patwal, Manvi, Aditya Chamoli, Diksha Joshi and Shalu Jaiswal with packages upto 14 Lakh were also felicitated. Hotel management students who got placed in Dubai and different hotels like Taj Hotel, Oberoi, Leela and Marriot Hotel were also awarded. In the program, a huge cake was also cut to celebrate the success of placements. On this occasion Pro Chancellor of Graphic Era Deemed University Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor Dr. Narpinder singh and Pro Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Hill University Dr. R Gauri were also present.
