Exhibition of paintings by renowned artists at Graphic Era University

A total of 27 well-known artists of the country created artworks by staying amongst the students and teaching them the tricks of their arts. After several days of workshops, an exhibition of the paintings of these renowned artists was organized at Graphic Era university today.
A total of 46 artworks and 4 sculptures were displayed in the Auditorium of Graphic Era Hill University. The work comprise different themes of culture, global warming, environment, and social concerns in colours were seen in this national workshop.
Dr. Ramshabd Singh from Uttar Pradesh along with students painted “Khobar” on canvas while Madhukar Kothiramji Wanjiri from Mumbai carved a three-dimensional figure on wood. Sangpal Uttam Mhaske, faculty, Department of Fine Arts, Graphic Era Hill University showcased the lush green campus of the University in his painting.
In this exhibition, Surendrar B. Jagtap from Mumbai, Yogesh Kumar from Mathura, Vinay Amber from Madhya Pradesh, Zakir Hussain from Dehradun, Sapna Kuniyal, alumnus of BA Fine Arts, displayed their works in the exhibition.
Workshop coordinator Prof. Dr. Jyoti Chhabra and Coordinator Prof. SK Sarkar said that this exhibition would enhance the interest of youth towards art.
