PM Modi to visit ‘Adi Kailash’ view point in October

In preparation for the proposed visit of Prime Ministers Narendra Modi to Jolingkong and ‘Adi Kailash’ in the month of October, the Pithoragarh district administration and other security agencies have started preparation for it.
“We have started preparation along with other agencies, after we have been intimated of the Prime Minister’s tentative visit to district on October 11 and 12, 2023,” said Reena Joshi, District Magistrate, Pithoragarh.
According to the tentative programe of the Prime Minister, he will reach Gunji helipad of Vyans valley of Dharchula sub- division of Pithoragrh district on October 11 and will worship at Lord Shiva temple at Jolingkong, some 36 km from Gunji.”We have been assigned to develop a half km long road from ITBP helipad to the temple,” said a BRO officer.
According to the BRO officer, the rest 2 km long way to ‘Adi Kailash’ from there will be developed by Army.” The Prime Minister will stay only for an hour at the temple and ‘Adi Kailash’ view point,” said the BRO officer. ‘ Adi Kailash’ view point is a place being developed from where pilgrims can have a clear view of the ‘Adi kailash’ peak situated in Tibet, China.
District administration has also started preparation for the proposed visit as it has instructed all concerned departments to complete assigned works in this connection in time.”Today, I,m going to Jolingkpng to take stock of the spot and preparation going on there,” said Divesh Shashni, SDM of Dharchula.
BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt, today reached Pithoragarh in this connection and left for Narayan Ashram in Sosa village of Chaudans valley where the Prime Minister is proposed to stay for one night.”Our Prime Minister is a ‘Shiv Bhakt’ and he is visiting Lord Shiva temple at Jolingkong 19505 feet high) and view the majestic ‘Adi Kailash’ peak to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva for the well being of the country,” said Mahendra Bhatt, Uttarakhand BJP chief.
According to BJP chief, the Prime Minister will address a public rally at SS Waldia stadium of Pithoragarh town on October 12.”To make the rally a grand success, we have started mobilising BJP workers and masses in Almora parliamentary constituency area,” said the state BJP chief, who left for Narayan Ashram in helicopter today.
