Ajay Bhatt, Union Minister of State for Defence and Tourism has claimed that the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Jolingkong and Gunji at Indo-China border of Pithoragarh district, will not only boost the morale of villagers staying on the border but also those of the security personnel deputed there in national security.
Talking to this correspondent during his visit to the district prior to Modi’s visit, the MoS for defence said that wherever Modi has visited, it has resulted into multi fold development of that region.”We in Uttarakhand has till date received over one lakh crore worth developmental schemes by Modiji. Whatever we have demanded, he gave immediately as he has special attachment with this Himalayan state.” said Bhatt.
Ajay Bhatt announced that the village of Gunji, will be developed as ‘Shiv nagari’, under vibrant village programme of central government in which facilities of 24 hours supply of drinking water, residential facilities, development of traditional skills, internet and wellness centers besides smooth round the year road connectivity will be provided to the vibrant village.”I have visited the Jolingkong, yesterday. The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) has done excellent work in connecting ‘Adi Kailash’ and ‘Parwati Tal’ with smooth roads,” said the minister.
The minister said that till BJP came into power in center, Congress governments had policy not to connect the borders for the fears that enemy would use them, but the BJP government under Modi has the policy to link villages on the borders to make them the first defence villages of the country.” A strong India is emerging with strong borders under the strong leadership of Modi.” said Ajay Bhatt.
The Union Minister said that under Modi’s leadership, the country is emerging in science, spirituality and world fraternity today.”Today we are exporting defence equipments, and emerging as a nation that will be fully self reliant in Army, Navy and Air force armaments that happened never before Modi,” claimed the Minister.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his proposed visit will perform ‘Parikrama’ and ‘Sadhna’ for 22 minutes in Jageshwar temple of Almora, of Kumaon region of the state on October 12, according to Jyotsana Pant, Manager of Jageshwar temple committee said.
“All the preparations for Prime Minister’s visit and Puja schedule in Jageshwar have been completed. According to the programme, the Prime Minister will land at Shaukiyathal helipad at 11.30 am, after reaching Jageswar temple some 30 minutes later, he will be welcomed with ‘Swastivachan’ hymns of ‘Upanishads’ by 11 eminent priests of the Dham.” Thereafter, the Prime Minister will worship for next 16 minutes in two main temples of, Mritunjaya Mahadev and Pushi Devi of Jageshwar Dham. Next 4 minutes have been slated for worship in two another temples of Dham, namely, Kedar temple and Batuk Bharav temple,” said Jyotsna Pant. “The Prime Minister will also have ‘Sadhna’ for over 7 or 10 minutes in Jageshwar Dham,” said a management source.
According to the temple management, after staying over 22 minutes at Jageshwar, Dham, the Prime Minister will take off for Gunji at 1.00 pm to have ‘Darshan’ and ‘Dhyan’ at ‘Adi Kailash’ temple of Lord Shiva and Parwati. According to programe set by administration with SPG advise, the Prime Minister will stay over 45 minutes at ‘Adi Kailash’ for worship and ‘Dhyan’.
