Curious scientists earn recognition: Dr. P. K. Ahluwalia

Dehradun, March 2

Director of Indian Association of Physics Teachers Dr. P. K. Ahluwalia said that a skilled scientist is recognised by his curious personality as he or she is a very observant about the natural phenomenon around.

Speaking on the occasion of National Science Day, Dr. P. K. Ahluwalia addressing a seminar in Graphic Era Hill University  said that Nobel Prize winner Sir. C. V. Raman has done an unprecedented contribution in the field of science and technology and his excellent contributions of ‘Raman effect’ has given a fillip to modern science in India while inspiring many young minds. He also shed light on the life and achievements of Sir C. V. Raman.

The program was organised by Graphic Era’s Department of Physics. HOD Dr. Vijay Kumar, Exam coordinator of Indian Association of Physics Teachers Prof. B. P. Tyagi, Dr. Sonika Sharma, Dr. Amit Raj Singh and Dr. Soni Mishra were also present in the program.


Moot Court Competition in Graphic Era University

The 3rd National Moot Court Competition which started at Graphic Era Hill University teams from 28 teams from renowned universities participated including Army Law College Pune, Amity Law School Noida and Symbiosis Pune, to showcase their legal knowledge and skilled advocacy.

After various rounds of competition, 8 teams were selected who displayed remarkable use of legalities. The final will be held tomorrow.

Advocates and experts from Supreme Court of India, Uttrakhand High Court and other fields of law will be evaluating the participants on various grounds. The program is organised by Graphic Era’s School of Law in collaboration with RVA Legal.
