Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Jagat Prakash Nadda today claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the direction of politics of the country with an objective to touch every class of society in the country.
Addressing a massive election rally in Pithoragarh today, Nadda cited several developmental projects in Uttarakhand and said the third decade of 21st century will be decade of Uttarakhand.”The Prime Minister has understood the pain of youth, women and ex-soldiers of Uttarakhand and has worked to bring these classes into mainstream of the country,” said Nadda.
The BJP president said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has fulfilled long standing demand of ex-soldiers by announcing “One rank ,one pension” scheme. “Congress party in its last 60 years rule has been fully involved in several scams including coal, Augusta helicopter, 2 G, 3G spectrum and submarine deal scams. Congress has committed scams from sky to under water from “Akash se paataal Tak”,” he charged.
Nadda said that Prime Minister Modi is hard working and has given India strength.”He has converted the country from 11th economic power in the world to 5th power, ahead of the Britain, who once ruled the country,” claimed Nadda. The BJP president has said that due to initiative of Prime Minister, the national phramaceutical industrialists are making cheapest medicines in the country.
” The Prime Minister has given 4 crore pucca houses to poor of the country, 11 crore LPG connections including 1 lakh in Uttarakhand, 11.20 lakh houses have given water connections under ‘Jal Jiwan Mission’ including 2.20 lakh alone in Pithoragarh district.” Besides these, the Union government has constructed 11 crore toilets in the country to facilitate women and free them from the botheration of going outside their homes.” Modi has made over 55 crore people in the country empowered with ‘Ayushman Bharat’ health cards, giving them Rs 5 lakh annual treatment free of host in super specify hospitals in the country,”said Nadda.
He said the during Congress regime none could have imagined of having medical colleges in places like Almora and Pithoragarh which are a reality now. To provide health facilities at doorsteps, the Prime Minister has increased health budget of the country from Rs 250 crore to Rs. 500 crore “Uttarakhand today is witnessing Rs 41000 crore worth developmental projects, ‘Vande Bharat’ trains are running from Dehradun and air services have been started from PIthoragarh,” said Nadda.
Criticising Congress party for raising questions on every action Modi government took to teach a lesson to Pakistan, he charged that Congress leaders are talking of breakup of the country.
Nadda praised Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami by saying that he has made a unique identity for the state of Uttarakhand by passing Unifor,m Civil code (UCC) bill first time in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that Nadda has been an inspiration for crores of workers of BJP who is inspisring each and every worker to work on the slogan of “Abki bar 400 par ( target of winning 400 Lok sabha seats).”
