Kavi Gaurav Award to Dr. Vishnu Saxena at Akhil Bhartiya Kavi Sammelan held at Graphic Era University

The audience immersed in different emotions as the stream of poetry flowed at the   ‘Akhil Bhartiya Kavi Sammelan’ organised at the Graphic Era University here today. Poets addressed the social and political situations in their own unique styles and compelled people to laugh and enjoy wholeheartedly. On this occasion, Graphic Era’s Kavya Gaurav Award was given to Dr. Vishnu Saxena.

Graphic Era Group of institutions’ Chairman Dr. Kamal Ghanshala along with the invited poets inaugurated the Kavi Sammelan by lighting the traditional lamp at the Silver Jubilee Convention Centre of Graphic Era University. The event commenced with Dr. Vishnu Saxena’s singing ‘Saraswati Vandana’. Chirag Jain made the audience laugh with his poem about day to day life incidents. While acting as an anchor of the kavi sammelan, renowned poet Dr. Praveen Shukla in his style and interesting commentary made the audience laugh wholeheartedly. The audience  cheered on his poem. He recited  many poems on the request of  audience. Dr. Kaleen Kaiser was also a hit among the audience for his unique poetry. Poet Sudeep Bhola also recited a poem on Ram Mandir. Pratap Faujdar from Mumbai also amused the audience.

Graphic Era’s Kavya Gaurav Award was given to Dr. Vishnu Saxena in the Kavi Sammelan. Chairman Dr. Kamal Ghanshala, President of Graphic Era Educational Society Mrs. Laxmi Ghanshala and Graphic Era Group of Institutions’ Vice Chairperson Mrs. Rakhi Ghanshala honoured Dr. Vishnu Saxena with Graphic Era’s Kavi Gaurav Award which also included a cheque of Rs. 1.5 lakhs. Pro Chancellor Dr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor Dr. Narpinder Singh, Vice Chancellor Graphic Era Hill University Dr. Sanjay Jasola, prominent personalities of Dehradun and officials were present during the event.
