Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Universal Human Values start at Graphic Era University
Dehradun, June 5
A Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Universal Human Values started at Graphic Era Deemed University, here today. On the first day of this three day programme, Vice Chancellor Dr. Narpinder Singh said that the lack of human values in society has led to exploitation of resources. He further said that the teachers should teach students about the universal human values and play a vital role in setting up foundation for a better world.
Bihari Nandan Pandey from Ajay Garg Engineering College, Gaziabad said that teachers are the most important stakeholders of education and should help students to inculcate value based education. He hoped that these students in turn would act as a catalyst to bring positive changes in society. He also shared his views on basic desires of human, human behaviour and social system.
The FDP was being organised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in collaboration with Graphic Era Deemed University. Dean International Affairs Dr. D. R. Gangodkar, Dr. Manisha Shukla from Lucknow University, Dr. Arun Pandey from Banaras Hindu University, Local Program Coordinator, UHV, Dr. Richa Thapliyal and Siddhant Thapliyal, faculty members of Graphic Era Deemed University and Graphic Era Hill University were present.
