Second day of ‘Shabdavali’ Hindi Literature Festival at Graphic Era University

On the second day of Hindi Sahitya Sammelan Avam Rajbhasha Pakhwada ‘Shabdavali’ today, various literary works were discussed in great depth. On the second day of the ‘Shabdavali’ festival, renowned authors, poets, interpreters and literature enthusiasts discussed about the various books and unique ideas present in them. In today’s discussion, books like ‘Vicharo ke Shilpi’, ‘Bhagat Singh ka Bhaudhik Gyan’, ‘Ambar Pariya’, ‘Amratva ki Aur’, ‘Akhandta ke Prateek: Guru Nanak’ and ‘Srijansheelta ka Stree Vimarsh’ were included.
Organized collaboratively by Graphic Era Hill University and ‘Valley of Words’, in this three day ‘Shabdavali’s’ second day, senior poet Lakshmi Shankar Bajpayi discussed about the book- ‘Vicharo k Shilpi: Bhagat Singh’on his birth anniversary. He highlighted the thinking and perspective of Bhagat Singh. Dr. Sanjeev Chopra called Bhagat Singh, a thoughtful leader. Interpreter of the book ‘Ambar Pariya’, Subodh Neerav said this book to be the proof of magical realism while writer Balwant Singh shared few interesting events.
Former DGP Anil Raturi and Dr. Sudha Rani Pandey highlighted the importance of the book ‘Amritva ki Aur’ in the context of the new age. Amardeep Singh, author of the book ‘Akhandta ke Prateek: Guru Nanak” discussed the teachings of Guru Nanak, the art of listening and the inspirational aspects of his life. Subodh Nirav, Mamta Kiran, Anjum Sharma and Upasana from Delhi, Ramita Gurav from Goa, Prabhat Singh from Bareilly, Zoram Yalam Nabam from Arunachal Pradesh, Amardeep Singh from Singapore, Nilesh Raghuvanshi from Bhopal, Dr. Sudha Rani Pandey, Bina Benzwal, Dr. Sanjeev Chopra, Someshwar Pandey, Dr. Sushil Upadhyay and Rashmi Chopra from Dehradun also participated in this brainstorming session.
In the second session, a discussion was held among these authors and scholars on what can be taught to the new generation from these books.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Hill University, Dr. Sanjay Jasola announced that these popular books along with many other important literary works will be added to the university library so that the students can study them and get inspired from them. He urged the students to read books and increase awareness towards literature.
The evening of ‘Shabdavali’ was full of vibrant performances. Team ‘Aaina’ performed an act while famous flute player Suraj Kumar presented a flute recital.
