BJP troubled by Prem Chand Agrawal issue, deliberately trying to create communal divide by targetting ‘madrasas’ and mosques during Ramzan month: Dhasmana

The people of the state will set an example on Holi and the second Friday of Ramzan in the state.

Dehradun, March 12

The ruling  Bharataiya Janata Party (BJP) state government troubled by the anger generated in the entire state due to the ‘uncivilized’ behavior of senior BJP Minister Prem Chand Aggarwal on the flloor of the  Uttarakhand assembly during recently concluded budget session,  has  now trying its best to spoil the communal harmony of the state by diverting the attention of the public from that issue  and deliberately launching a one-sided campaign against madrasas and mosques in the holy month of Ramzan.

This allegation was made by the senior vice president of Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee, Suryakant Dhasmana, while talking to media persons here today. He said that the enlightened people of Uttarakhaand have now understood the real intention of the BJP and they will celebrate Holi with great enthusiasm on Friday, March 14 while the  Muslim brothers will offer prayers on the second Friday of the holy Ramzan in a peaceful manner.

Dhasmana said that BJP has realized that the people of the hill community of the state are so hurt by the rude behavior and abusive language of senior minister of BJP government Premchand Agarwal over past sometime and to add insult to injury, BJP has included Prem Chand Aggarwal in the ministerial group formed by the central government. “Now BJP has found the easiest way to overcome this problem by creating  Hindu Muslim divide in the state,” he added.

Dhasmana said that Holi, Diwali, Eid, all the festivals  celebrate happiness and to end mutual prejudice and bitterness with an aim to spread love. “But, sadly, today the people sitting in power want to make these festivals a weapon to spread hatred and violence which the public will never allow to happen,: he added.

He  appealed to the people of the state to celebrate Holi with happiness and joy and Muslim brothers to offer their Friday prayers in a peaceful manner.
