The ‘Student Grafest-2025’ at Graphic Era University kicked off with spectacular cultural performances here today. The festival provided students a unique platform to showcase their talent, energy, and creativity.
The blockbuster inauguration of ‘Student Grafest’ took place today on the grounds of Graphic Era Deemed University, where music, energy, and dance filled the air. The evening began with the solo singing category, featuring Prestisha Sharma from B.Sc. Forensic Science and Neeraj Kafle from B.Sc. IT. Following this, in the beatboxing category, Ashwath Shaili from B.Tech CSE and Admyaveer Singh from BCA AI/DS mesmerized the audience with their skills. In the Western solo singing category, Lavanya Rauthan from B.A. Psychology and Ananya Mondal from B.Tech First Year entertained the crowd with their performances.
The students’ dance performances captured everyone’s attention. In the solo dance category, Bhavya Shah from BPT and Sonansha Beniwal from B.A. Psychology energized the atmosphere. The group dance category saw performances by Dehradun Bhangra Club, Team Devbhumi, and Gorkha Paltan 2.0, showcasing traditional and cultural dances. In the freestyle rap battle, Anurag Rawat from BBA and Vidyansh Uniyal from BCA captivated the audience with their raps.
The first day’s spectacular performances once again proved that Graphest is not just a festival but a powerhouse platform highlighting students’ exceptional talent and creativity. Graphic Era students are excelling not only in academics but also in arts, culture, and creative activities. The festival went beyond mere entertainment, becoming a hub of energy, inspiration, and fresh ideas for aspiring professionals.
The event was graced by Graphic Era Deemed University’s Vice-Chancellor Dr. Narpinder Singh, Pro-VC Dr. Santosh S. Sarraf, Registrar Dr. Naresh Kumar Sharma, and heads of various departments along with faculty members. Thousands of students were seen dancing, singing, and immersing themselves in the festival’s vibrant energy.
