Saksham bags first position in AWS Coding Competition held at Graphic Era University
Dehradun, November 4
Students at Graphic Era University showcased their problem-solving skills in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and coding during the AWS JAM Coding Competition, held here today. Saksham secured the first position on the leader board with an impressive performance.
The competition was organized at Graphic Era Deemed University to test students’ knowledge and skills in cloud computing and AI. More than 500 students participated, demonstrating their coding expertise, strategic thinking, and quick decision-making abilities on the AWS platform to solve real-time technical challenges.
At the end of the competition, Saksham (B.Tech 3rd Year) bagged the first position, followed by Atishay Jain (B.Tech 2nd Year) in second place and Anuj (B.Tech 2nd Year) in third, winning cash prizes for their achievements.
The event was jointly organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Graphic Era Deemed University, and Amazon Web Services.
The competition was graced by Vice Chancellor Dr. Narpinder Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Santosh S. Saraf, Dean of International Affairs Dr. D. R. Gangodkar, Head of the CSE Department Dr. Devesh Pratap Singh, and AWS Resource Persons Mr. Mohit Sharma, Mr. Ishu Mitra and Mr. Piyush Agarwal, along with other faculty members and students. The event was coordinated by Akanksha Gupta, AWS Coordinator at Graphic Era.
