Graphic Era doctors reach remote villages amidst snowfall

Dehradun, January 27

Graphic Era’s mobile hospital has reached remote villages affected by snowfall. In one such village, Graphic Era doctors provided medical services to 156 people in Chamoli district. The residents of this village earlier had to travel 52 kms for treatment.

The local people expressed their happiness by organizing a ceremony on the arrival of the mobile medical unit along with Graphic Era doctors. During this ceremony, District Panchayat Vice President Laxman Khatri inaugurated the medical services. The event was attended by village head Nanduli Devi of Wan, BDC member Hema Devi, villagers, and the mobile medical unit team.

Despite difficult conditions, the unit reached the village and provided OPD services, primary check-ups, eye examinations, pathology tests, and distributed free medicines after diagnosis. The medical team included Dr. Ratnesh, Dr. Siddhi, and optometrist Suraj Mishra. A total of 156 villagers were registered and treated in this camp.

Due to the absence of doctors in the village hospital, people have to travel 52 kilometers to Tharali for treatment. This is Graphic Era’s fourth mobile hospital in Chamoli district.
