Choose what you love, it becomes the guarantee of success: Dr. Ghanshala
Dehradun, Jan 28
Chairman of the Graphic Era Group of Institutions, Dr. Kamal Ghanshala, said that one should choose a career based on personal interest. When a person does work of their choice, it never feels like a burden, and sincere effort done with dedication eventually becomes a guarantee of success, he added.
He was addressing and guiding students of Graphic Era Deemed University and Graphic Era Hill University, motivating them to move confidently towards their future. Dr. Ghanshala said that life is not merely a collection of questions, but a beautiful journey of growth and progress. Every student must ask themselves what they truly wish to pursue in life. Life is full of ups and downs, but those who trust their inner strength are able to overcome difficulties and move forward. In today’s world, success is not measured only by high positions or money, but by doing work with passion and finding happiness in it. While a job provides stability, entrepreneurship offers opportunities for growth and expansion. Business involves challenges and failures, but those who learn to rise after falling are certain to succeed.
Dr. Ghanshala said that the manufacturing industry is the sector of the future. India holds immense potential in this field, but research and innovation do not receive adequate encouragement because of the fear of failure. He emphasized that failure must be accepted and used as a learning experience to move ahead. He further stated that career opportunities exist in every field today, and basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence has become essential for every student. Global competition is present in every sector, yet opportunities remain open for all — what is required is to make oneself capable and competent.
Expressing concern, Dr. Ghanshala said that the country is unable to retain its talented engineers, leading to the migration of skilled youth abroad. In such a scenario, young people must create opportunities for themselves. He added that while there may be countless goals, each individual must choose a path that brings personal satisfaction.
Sharing experiences and struggles from his own life, Dr. Ghanshala inspired students through real-life examples. He spoke about opportunities in entrepreneurship, employment generation, and highlighted the thousands of direct and indirect jobs created by the institution. He said that anyone can become a good employee, but a true leader is one who moves forward while taking others along.
At the conclusion of the program, to motivate the students, Dr. Ghanshala recited the inspirational lines of “Ruk Jana Nahi Tu Kabhi Haar Ke.” On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dr. Narpinder Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Santosh S. Sarraf, Registrar Dr. Naresh Kumar Sharma, faculty members, and students were present. The program was conducted by Sahib Sablok.
